Hello my reader friends. Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today’s topic is Bookish Places I’ve Visited. I haven’t really visited many bookish places, or maybe any lol, so I decided to tweak the topic a little. Here’s bookish places I wish were real!
Bookish Places I wish Were Real
This means there will always be time to read, and it won’t interfere with real life! I mean, what can be better than that!?
It seems, at least on IG, that everyone has an opinion on what you are reading. I’d love to be in a place where that doesn’t happen. (also future podcast coming about this!)
Why is it you can be sitting in a room with someone for an hour and not one peep. Then you open a book and they start talking immediately!?
Wouldn’t it be cool if your book came to life in front of you and then you were actually in the book? I mean not scary books – I wouldn’t be able to handle that lol. But fun books. Count me in!
I love reading outside, BUT our outdoor furniture is just not as comfy as indoor furniture. So let’s be able to be outside, fall temps, fall leaves, with a big comfy indoor chair and a cozy blanket. Is that too much to ask!?
I love having conversations, not arguments. Sometimes I like understanding why people don’t like books – it makes me think about the book differently. But again, as a conversation. I feel like conversations don’t exist anymore – I want them back.
I mean wouldn’t it be cool if a little book fairy asked you what you wanted to drink, or offered you your next read? No? Just me?
You only have 10% of your book left and guess how much power you have left? NONE! It’s so annoying. Let’s have a place where kindles never die.
Space isn’t an issue. Money isn’t an issue. When you need a new bookshelf it just appears. Wouldn’t that be awesome?
You never have to DNF a book. Ever. I woudl love that!

I wish that when I read, time would stand still. No guilt about the many chores around the house I should be doing. No guilt about the time I spend on my rear end when I should be up and moving around … exercising (yuck).
