First Line Friday – Before the King

Welcome to First Line Friday, hosted by Reading is my SuperPower! It’s time to grab the book you’re reading, and share the first line!

Today I’m actually not sharing the first line of this book. I’m sharing a line that really spoke to my heart – from the prologue! I’m only a few chapters into this story. I want to savor it and take my time with it. I’ve been writing notes, questions, and marking great quotes (there are several already!). Before the King is my #1 most anticipated read for 2025. Heather’s first biblical fiction novel, Up From Dust, was my #1 read of 2024. She is an AMAZING author guys. Amazing.
