Hello my friends. Welcome to another addition of His Encouragement. A weekly post to help get you through your week.
I still haven’t started my dive into Verse Mapping. My current bible study is taking longer than I anticipated, mostly because I’ve had a health setback. But I still wanted to share one with you this week, as I am determined to get into it!!!
Today I want to share with you Deuteronomy 31:6. This is a verse that brings me so much comfort. It gives us confidence in knowing that God will NEVER leave us. Not ever!!! Now, we can leave Him, and sometimes we do. Maybe not always on purpose, kind of like my situation right now. Full disclosure – I like to do my bible reading first thing in the morning. I find that if I don’t, then it doesn’t happen at all. Well part of my health issue is that I am constantly tired, and it’s really hard for me to get out of bed in the morning. But I have to work now, and I’ve been staying in bed until the last second, which means no bible time. Yes, I know it’s wrong. I still talk to God during the day, I haven’t left Him completely. But I have neglected Him. Pray for me – I need to figure this out. And I will.
But how awesome is it to know that once I get back at it, God is right there waiting for me. And although I’m not doing my bible reading every day, I still talk to Him and He’ still there listening. And answering my prayers.
I think these verses look pretty similar. Yes, some of the wording is different, but I get the same concept from all of them. They all tell us to be strong and courageous because we have God on our side. And when we have God on our side, we can’t lost!

Thank you for sharing this verse today! <3
Amen! I love how it says God will go before you. That’s why we have nothing to fear. When we stand behind Jesus, He takes on all the scary stuff for us. Very encouraging!
I love this verse too. I also love that God repeats himself in the same manner in many other places throughout the old testament, and even in the new testament. It’s not just a command for that moment in time. it’s a command that reverberates through the ages. Love it!
