Summer Travel

Welcome to Wondering Wednesdays, a weekly post to learn more about me and other bloggers ðŸ™‚ If you’re a blogger, please join in every week!

Today’s questions is –  Will you be traveling at all this summer?

Well this is going to be a short post! Nope, I’m not traveling at all this summer! We’d really like to, but sometimes it just doesn’t work out. My daughter is working three different jobs this summer, and my husband and I are both going through some health things at the moment. But it’s ok. God is in control. And we’ll do things locally.

We will go golfing, which we didn’t get to do at all last summer, so this is a big treat.

We’ll catch a movie or two. We haven’t been to a movie in over a year so this is also a big treat!

And other than that, we’re just taking it day by day 🙂

What about you? Will you traveling this summer?

There won’t be any major vacation plans for us this year. The new outcrop of Covid variants and having several medical issues, we have decided to wait and see and hope next year will be a better year to travel far off. As for this year, I’m really happy to just make a few short trips to see hubby’s 91 year old Mom and sister in the state north of us or day trips for photographic purposes. With knowing we would be staying at home, we have many more flowers planted (which you can’t do if you are traveling and not here to keep them watered and maintained) and enjoying the birds and critters that they bring to our place. It’s kind of a little bonus for not traveling to see new sights.

I totally get it Kay. Selfishly, I’m glad you are enjoying the birds because it means I’ll get to see pictures!!

Thank you! However, we always have our cameras with us – especially when going to some place new. It’s fun to see and capture things we can’t see around home too. 🙂

We are waiting for family to come to us if they can swing it.
We are taking care of our new to us house. We are surprised to see the many different flowers and plants pop up in our beds. Lawn and weeding keeps us busy.
