MY PERSPECTIVE

What an interesting, suspenseful, keep my on my toes novel!! Hamaker easily brought me into the storyline and didn’t let me go. The twists and turns were delightful and unexpected, and had me guessing right until the end. The Dark Guest has history, charm, danger, well written characters, and more.

I think the thing I appreciated the most was that it wasn’t instant love for Henry and Violet. I think that when suspense books have that, it sometimes takes away from the mystery you’re trying to solve. Hamaker had the perfect mix of romance and suspense, neither taking over the storyline as a whole.

I think romantic suspense fans will really enjoy The Dark Guest. I look forward to more from this series! I received a complimentary copy of this book. I was not required to write a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
