Top Ten Tuesday – It Was a Dark and Stormy Night….

Hello my reader friends. Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today’s topic is Books To Read During a Storm. This automatically makes me think of suspense novels – my comfort genre. But although it is my comfort genre, I tend not to read if it’s storming, unless my hubs is nearby. And I don’t read in the dark – lights must be on! LOL This scaredy cat easily gets creeped out.

Let me say it is way too hard to narrow this list down, but I managed to get it down to 10 different authors – so while there are several books I may pick for the authors, I am only sharing one book. Rest assured if you look at their book list page, you’ll find tons of amazing books to read! And my #1 avoid reading on a dark and stormy night author is…….

You can probably guess………………………………………………………………………………………..

Jaime Jo Wright! Her books creep me out in the absolute best way!! But you’ll never catch me reading them during a storm!

Books I may avoid reading on a dark and stormy night! (but will read when it’s light out, or while my husband is nearby)

So what about you? What books might you avoid reading on a dark and stormy night?

  1. Paula Shreckhise

One of my favorite genres. Love those authors.
I would add Lynn Blackburn , Abigail Wilson, Patricia Bradley, Irene Hannon, Kelly Irvin, DiAnn Mills and Tom Threadgill, Susan Sleeman and Elizabeth Goddard.
