His Encouragement – Psalm 18:1-2

Posted by abakersp in Thoughtful Thursday / 3 Comments

Hello friends! Welcome to His Encouragement, a weekly dose of biblical encouragement to help get you through your week! Make sure you check out what my friends have to say too. Let’s all encourage each other!

Many people I know are going through something right now. It could be spiritual, emotional, financial, physical, or whatever. If this is you friends, I want you to be encouraged. God will be there for you, and He can comfort you if you just ask. He will make a way, and He will answer prayer. No matter how bad the situation, God can and should be the source of our strength.

” I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. “

Psalm 18:1-2

I, too, am going through something right now. It seems like there is no way out, no way to make it through. Honestly, I don’t know what we’re going to do. But I do know this – God is in control. He is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer. He is the reason I am able to keep going. My husband reminded me when we were talking of this situation that God’s never let us down in the past, and he’s not going to in the future. Friends those are words of truth we need to hang on to. God will never let us down.

What’s been on your heart this week friends? I hope you’ll share in the comments, and please don’t forget to visit my friends and see what they’re sharing this week!

    What a beautiful reminder! I will be praying for you and your family as God brings you through this time of storm. Maybe his strength and grace be all sufficient in your time of need.

  2. I’m sorry you’re going through another thing! It’s been a rough year, my friend. I’ll be praying. But your husband’s correct, God’s got us all and He will see us through. ?❤
