If you’ve been here for any length of time, you know I am a bible collector. I love bibles – they contain God’s Word after all. I love different translations and how each one can speak to you differently. I’ve got quite the collection of bibles, and to be honest some I use more than others. But it never stops me from wanting to grow my collection. I’m delighted to share a recent addition to my bible collection with you today!

My Perspective
The thing I appreciate the most about this bible is that is doesn’t have dates in it. It does have a reading plan, but it is by weeks and days with no specific date attached. That means I can start it whenever I want to! No need to wait until the beginning of a year (which many people tend to do!). And I like that the reading plan is throughout the bible, so you don’t have to flip pages to see what you need to read each day.
The weekly summaries are great and include a lot of insight! I almost wish they were daily, but I understand why they lumped it all together. They all point to Jesus – and isn’t that what the bible is all about? Pointing us to Jesus? I thought this was a great reminder of that, something we all need in our daily lives.
One thing I wish were different – having the words of Jesus in red. This is my own pet peeve about bibles, and I’m sure it doesn’t bother most people. I just like seeing His Words stand out on the page. But other than that, I really like this bible. I think it’s a welcome addition to my collection. You can use it for it’s daily reading plan, or just use it to read at your own pace. Either way, it’s packed with a lot of good information in a translation that is easy to read.

This Bible looks great! I, too, prefer Jesus’s words in red. But it’s not a deal breaker. CSB Bibles are some of my favorite. Great review!
