My Perspective
Wow.
There are so many things I can say about this movie. It encouraged me. It lifted my spirits. I cried – some parts sad and some parts just so powerful. This story truly shows how amazing God is, and how He can change anyone who will come to Him. I thought they did a wonderful job in sharing the gospel, and my hope is that it will change lives. Dramatically.
The main actors did a great job of showing emotion when needed, and also portraying their characters realistically. There were a few supporting roles that I felt weren’t portrayed as well as I had hoped, but it did not take away from from my enjoyment of the film. It was powerful. Moving. And best of all, points to Christ.
I pray this movie will touch lives and bring people to Jesus. We all need Him, whether we admit it or not. I can see why this story didn’t make headlines years ago – it’s not what reporters want to talk about. But it needs to be shared. I encourage you to go see the movie. Let the message of the movie speak straight to your heart.
