Posted by abakersp in Spotlights / 1 Comment

Well my friends, you are in for a treat. Have your fans ready……

First, I must apologize for not getting this yesterday. We were so busy with Father’s Day that I just didn’t get to it. So, today I’m going to post two spotlights to make up some time 🙂 The first comes from Kari Trumbo’s novella, Teach Me To Love. I’m just going to let the photo speak for itself.

Character name: Conrad Oleson

Role in story: Hero

Likes: To know just what needs to be done and to finish it. He wants people to respect him.

Dislikes: He doesn’t like physical anger, but he does get angry at injustice. He hates to be embarrassed.

Readers will connect with Conrad because he has flaws, he can’t read, knows he should learn, but is discouraged. He feels pressured by his family and hates keeping his secret. Everyone has something they want to hide from others. But, could you face that thing if it meant you’d have a better life?

About Kari

Kari Trumbo

Kari Trumbo is a best-selling author of Christian and sweet romance.

She writes swooney heroes and places that become characters, with historical detail and heart.
She’s a stay-at-home mom to four vibrant children. When she isn’t writing, or editing, she home schools her children and pretends to keep up with them.

Kari loves reading, listening to contemporary Christian music, singing when no one’s listening, and curling up near the wood stove when winter hits. She makes her home in central Minnesota, land of frigid toes and mosquitoes the size of compact cars, with her husband of almost twenty-one years. They have two daughters, two sons, two cats, and one hungry wood stove.
