If you are looking for your next suspense read, well here you go. Guys this book is so good! I think it’s my favorite suspense novel so far this year. I LOVED it!!!!!!

My Perspective

I was hooked from page one right up until the end. If the rest of the series is as good as this one, this is hands down my favorite from Blackburn. There’s danger, romance, swoony moments, tender moments, and so much more in this story. There’s a couple of twists as well – one I kind of anticipated and one I didn’t see coming until it was there. Well done Blackburn!

Let’s talk about Callum. Goodness he’s a swoony hero. He’s gentle with Eliza, patient with Landry, and just hunky. He claims he doesn’t want to fall again, but boy he falls quick – and it’s a delight to read his pov and see where his mind is at. Readers will have all the sighs and swoons!

The suspense was great as well. Blackburn does a great job of keeping readers on their toes. It’s not so fast paced that you can’t keep up, but it’s just fast enough to keep you guessing. I am so excited to see what comes next in this series. Gossamer Falls is a place I never want to leave,

About the Author

Lynn H. Blackburn loves writing romantic suspense because her childhood fantasy was to become a spy, but her grown-up reality is that she’s a huge chicken and would have been caught on her first mission. She prefers to live vicariously through her characters and loves putting them into all kinds of terrifying situations while she’s sitting at home safe and sound in her pajamas!

She’s currently writing the Gossamer Falls series set in the mountains of Western North Carolina. The series will include three novels and one novella and kicks off with Never Fall Again.

Unknown Threat, the first book in her Defend and Protect series, was a 2021 Christy Award finalist, and her previous titles have won the Carol Award, the Selah Award, and the Faith, Hope, and Love Reader’s Choice Award.
