My Perspective

Finding Love in Mountain View is such a sweet movie. Sometimes when I see there is going to be children in a romance movie, I cringe a little because they can overtake the movie, or are just cast wrong. But Hallmark did a fantastic job with this cast. The kids added to the storyline rather than take away from it. And seeing the way Margaret interacted with them in a sweet and sincere manner, right from the very beginning, really touched my heart.

But let’s talk about the best part of this movie – Andrew and Margaret together. I actually like the way it was done – their love story that is. It was slow, it didn’t seem like the main focus of the movie (which I was 100% on board with), and it was just wonderful. The actors had great chemistry, which can sometimes be hard to find. And the supporting actors were great. Even the mellow attorney that spoke to Margaret about taking the children. I appreciated his soft spoken manner and tone.

Bottom line is that this movie is another Hallmark great. Though I’ve not read the book it’s based on, seeing hte movie makes me want to read it. Hallmark fans will love the romance, the setting, the family aspect, and of course our charming leading man! I highly recommend watching when this premieres, and after! This is one I’ll be watching again 🙂

I received an advance screening of this film. I was not required to write a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
