About the Book
Country music bad boy, Chase Bradington is on the comeback trail. Fresh from rehab for alcohol addiction and transformed by the power of Christ, Chase is battling to rediscover the music he loves and a career he nearly ruined. Then he meets up-and-comer, Pyper Brock and instantly sparks ignite. Despite her rampant attraction to the handsome and talented icon, Pyper knows of Chase’s reputation and soundly dismisses his romantic overtures. No way will Pyper make the mistake of falling for a man whose done battle with the bottle. What happens when Chase’s quest to win Pyper’s love breaks down chains of resentment and eases the long-buried wounds of her childhood? And what happens when Pyper’s father shows up in Nashville, clean, sober and seeking a chance to apologize? Can Pyper follow a pathway to peace when it comes to her father? Can she fully trust Chase? Above all, can a sin-damaged past be released in favor of forgiveness?
My Perspective

Forgiveness. This is something I think we all battle with, at least I know I do. It’s always nice to see reminders of it that give me a little push in my own life. That is exactly what this story has done for me. Reminded me that God’s forgiveness is there for us to take, and we really should apply the same principle in our lives. Forgive others even as Jesus forgave us.

I immediately identified with both Chase and Pyper, and I automatically wished they would get together after their very first encounter! This was such a beautifully written story and I loved reading through their blossoming relationship. Both had their own issues, but they were open with each other and took their time moving forward.

I think Chase’s story really spoke to my heart. Here is a man who was raised right, but kind of fell away from the things of God. It took him reaching rock bottom to find his way to God and start to heal. And it wasn’t easy for him, but no one ever said it would be. I think we all go through that to some extent. Maybe not quite as bad as Chase, but we all have our flaws and the things that keep our minds on things other than God. Chase’s story really touched me and encouraged me to get back on track!

Even though this is a work of fiction I still think it can speak to your heart. I hope you’ll pick up a copy today! I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions stated are my own.
