My Perspective
Janet Ferguson is such a talented writer. She has such poise, tenderness, and love in her stories. Healing Skye was such a great read, filled with pain, sorrow, hope, and everything in between. Her flawed characters and difficult circumstances just speak to readers in such a powerful and unique way. It’s hard to even put into words how you feel about them!
Pete and Skye were such a perfect pairing. Both with their own hurdles to overcome, but such a promise of healing and hope for their future. Ferguson takes her time with their relationship. She shows grace throughout their entire story, and reminds readers that even the broken people of the world just need a little love and compassion, as well as patience and nurturing. Somehow Ferguson manages to keep their character growth totally realistic, slow and surprising at the same time. I promise you that their story will touch your heart in ways you never thought of.
Ferguson is an auto read for me, and should be for you. Her stories beautifully share the gospel, poetically touch on difficult subject, and provide such hope to broken readers. They are inspiring and a a joy to read. I highly recommend! I received a complimentary copy of this book. I was not required to write a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
