His Encouragement: Thursday Biblical Inspiration

Happy Thursday! I’ve joined in with some of my friends to offer you a weekly inspiration from God’s Word, hence the name His Encouragement. I hope you’ll join us on this journey every week and offer your own bit of biblical inspiration!

Today’s verse comes from Joshua 1:9

“Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee withersoever thou goest.”

Life can be tough. No one knows that better than me. I’ve had a lot of stuff going on in my life lately. But the central theme that I’ve kept in my mind through it all? God is with me. Always. And God wants me to be strong and courageous. Is it easy? No. But with God’s help, we can get through anything life throws at us!
