A witness with amnesia
Can she trust this Gold Country Cowboy with her life?
Tracy Wilson witnessed a murder—but after a head injury, she can’t remember what she saw. Now someone plans to silence her for good, and only cowboy Keegan Thorn believes her. With a killer after her at Christmas, Tracy is running out of time to remember…and falling dangerously hard for the cowboy who could break her heart.
My Perspective
Oh my word does Dana Mentink know how to write a story that keeps you on your toes. I mean, I was already biting my nails in the first chapter! Yes, it starts out intense. I think those were some of the most intense scenes in the whole book, but don’t think for a moment that means the book got boring after that. Nothing but! With cowboy hero Keegan Thorn around, it was well worth my nails disappearing!
Mentink has managed to provide not only a great story line, but great depth in her characters. Sure, Tracy needs to recover from memory loss, but it’s more then that. I enjoyed Keegan and Tracy’s characters growing together. For awhile it seemed like Keegan was all Tracy really had – which would have been just fine with me ;). Keegan is really the character that needs the most growth in my opinion, and I happen to like it when it’s the hero. Keegan has his issues, I mean all heroes can’t be perfect, which I think makes them even more of a hero. Mentink has incorporated the forgiveness theme seamlessly, and let me tell you that it packs a punch!
This book is fast paced, fun, thrilling, and yet a little romantic. Although I would recommend reading the entire series, if I were to pick only one to read, it would definitely be this one! I received a complimentary copy of this book. I was not required to write a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This sounds really good!
I really liked the first book in this series but haven’t been able to read the next two. This sounds like a great conclusion to the series. I really liked the blend of suspense and romance.
This is a new author to me, sounds like a great book.
